Pagani Huayra Dinastia Yazi – Vehicle Background

Overview

The Pagani Huayra Dinastia Yazi is one of the rarest and most intricately crafted editions of the Pagani Huayra hypercar. Part of the Huayra Dinastia series, it was created exclusively for the Chinese market to celebrate Pagani’s entry into China and pay homage to Chinese cultural heritage.

Only three examples of the Huayra Dinastia were ever produced, each inspired by a mythical Chinese dragon. The Yazi edition represents one of these three, named after Yazi (睚眦), a fierce dragon from Chinese mythology known for its bravery, strength, and affinity with weaponry — a fitting symbol for the Huayra’s power and aggression.

Performance

Like the standard Huayra, the Dinastia Yazi is powered by a Mercedes-AMG M158 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, developed specifically for Pagani by AMG’s high-performance division.

Despite its immense power, the Huayra Dinastia Yazi retains exceptional handling precision thanks to its lightweight construction and advanced active aerodynamics.

Design

The Dinastia Yazi stands out with its bespoke aesthetic inspired by Chinese artistry and symbolism. Each Dinastia model features a unique colour scheme and dragon-themed artwork woven into its carbon-fibre body.

• Exterior: The Yazi edition is finished in a striking blue carbon fibre weave, accented with gold detailing and subtle dragon motifs. Pagani’s patented carbo-titanium monocoque ensures rigidity and lightness, with the car weighing around 1,350 kg.
• Aerodynamics: The Huayra’s active flaps at each corner adjust in real time for optimal downforce and stability, balancing speed with agility.
• Interior: The cabin combines Italian craftsmanship with Chinese-inspired detailing — quilted leather, exposed carbon, anodised aluminium, and fine gold accents. Each Dinastia interior is hand-finished and unique to its owner.

The Huayra Dinastia Yazi integrates cutting-edge technology designed to provide both extreme performance and driver involvement:

• Active Aerodynamics: Four independent flaps adjust dynamically to maintain balance and traction.
• Adaptive Suspension: Electronically controlled dampers adapt to driving conditions for comfort and control.
• Lightweight Construction: Extensive use of carbon-titanium composite materials contributes to a class-leading power-to-weight ratio.
• Braking System: Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes ensure immense stopping power and fade resistance.

The Dinastia Collection

The Huayra Dinastia series was conceived to celebrate Chinese culture, with each of the three cars representing a different dragon from mythology:

1. Yazi – Symbol of bravery and ferocity (blue carbon finish)
2. Chiwen – Guardian of the heavens and water (purple carbon finish)
3. Bi’an – Protector of justice (red carbon finish)

Each car was built with individual paint, interior, and engraving details, making every Dinastia completely unique.

The Huayra Dinastia Yazi is part of Pagani’s ultra-exclusive Huayra family, sitting alongside special editions such as the Huayra BC, Huayra Roadster, and Huayra Imola. Unlike these models, however, the Dinastia series was created solely for China, making it a collector’s masterpiece and a symbol of Pagani’s bespoke craftsmanship.
