Scales for Model Trucks
Trucks are long vehicles, so scale makes a big difference to display space. 1:50 is the traditional scale for model lorries and makes up much of our wider catalogue, giving room for a tractor unit with trailer on a normal shelf. 1:24 and 1:18 trucks are large, highly detailed display pieces, while 1:43 suits collectors who want trucks to sit alongside their 1:43 car collection. Racing Car Transporters
Transporters are a favourite with motorsport collectors because they combine a classic commercial vehicle with a team livery. Notable examples include:

Do you sell 1:18 scale truck and trailer models?
Yes, although 1:18 trucks are produced in small numbers. 1:18 examples include the Werk83 Blue Wonder transporter and the MCG Volvo F88, while the Solido tractor units and flatbed trailer are 1:24, which is the more common large scale for articulated trucks.
How big is a 1:24 diecast truck?
A 1:24 model is one twenty-fourth of the real vehicle's length, so a tractor unit around six metres long gives a model of roughly 25cm, and considerably more once a trailer is coupled.
