Tamiya – 1:12 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR Model Kit (14109)

The Ninja ZX-RR was Kawasaki”s first MotoGP machine equipped with a 4-stroke engine, and after overcoming initial teething problems, began to show its potential. With the addition of rider Shinya Nakano in 2004, the team kept improving and became capable of challenging the top teams for race honors. Nakano rode the lime-green, 990cc-engined machine to a second place podium finish at Round 8 in the Netherlands for his best finish of the 2006 MotoGP season.

Special Features

  • Cowlings can be attached/detached using precison-made screws to showcase accurately reproduced internal details.
  • Rear suspension feature realistic nut fastener. Wrench tool is conveniently included to aid assembly.
  • Brilliant livery can be recreated using Tamiya paints (Light Green & Semi Gloss Black), with sponsor logos provided by beautiful Cartograf decals.
  • Synthetic rubber racing slick tires with Bridgestone markings provide an authentic race feel.
  • Markings for both Shinya Nakano’s No.56 and Randy de Puniet’s No.17 included.

Paint, glue and finishing supplies are required to complete.

    The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Please note that models can vary slightly in size, as not all real-life items, like cars or planes, have the same dimensions.

    Model Cars:

    • 1:12 scale: ~38 cm or 15 inches
    • 1:18 scale: ~25 cm or 10 inches
    • 1:24 scale: ~18 cm or 7 inches
    • 1:43 scale: ~10 cm or 4 inches
    • 1:64 scale: ~7 cm or 2.75 inches
    • 1:76 scale: ~6 cm or 2.3 inches
