RWB Rauh-Welt Begriff
Akira Nakai started RWB in a body shop in Chiba, Japan, and still works on every car himself, turning air-cooled Porsche 911s into low, wide-arched builds with large rear wings. Each RWB car carries its own name, and the models keep them. GT Spirit offers Army Girl, Natty Dread Junior, Penthouse, Qeema and Yuiitsumuni in 1:18 resin, plus a 1:12 Tiffany 964. Solido covers Jagermeister, Cinderella, Pink Pig, Martini, Taikano Kaishin and a Nardo Grey car with an Akira Nakai figure, and Werk83 offers Sidney Hoffmann's Furusato and Osechi 993s in diecast.
Liberty Walk LB-Works
Wataru Kato founded Liberty Walk in Nagoya in 1993, originally as a used car business, before it became known for bolt-on overfenders on supercars and Japanese performance cars. Our LB-Works range includes the Solido Nissan GT-R (R35) Type 2 with a Kato San figure, an R35 in Martini livery, and Toyota GR Supra and GR86 conversions. GT Spirit adds the LB-Works McLaren 720S, Porsche 997 Turbo and LB Super Silhouette versions of the S15 Silvia and R34 Skyline GT-R, Otto Mobile offers the Honda NSX (NA1), and Top Speed covers an LB-Super Silhouette Mazda RX-7 in IMSA style and a Formula Drift Japan S15. For smaller shelves, Mini GT makes a 1:64 LB-Works Nissan 35GT-RR.
Pandem and Rocket Bunny
Pandem and Rocket Bunny kits are designed by Kei Miura of TRA Kyoto, and are sold under the Pandem name in some markets. Otto Mobile offers the Pandem Nissan Fairlady Z from 2015 and the Rocket Bunny Aero V1 Mazda RX-7 (FD3S), while GT Spirit offers a Pandem Toyota GR86 and a 2025 Pandem Fairlady Z in China Blue. Other tuner builds in stock include Strosek Porsches, the Koenig Special 348 Twin Turbo and an R34 GT-R with a KRC body kit.
Sizes and Materials
A standard Porsche 911 (993) is 4,245mm long, so a 1:18 RWB 993 measures about 24cm, with the flared arches making it noticeably wider than a factory-bodied model. GT Spirit and Otto Mobile models are sealed resin, numbered limited editions, while Solido and Werk83 produce diecast. For factory-bodied performance cars, see our supercar models, and our scale guide compares every size.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a widebody car?
A widebody car has had its wheel arches widened with flared or bolt-on fenders, usually alongside wider wheels, a lower ride height and extra aerodynamic parts such as wings and splitters. RWB, Liberty Walk and Pandem are three of the best-known builders.
Do you sell body kits for model cars?
No. These are fully built display models that replicate real widebody cars, with the body kit already part of the model. We do not sell separate body kit parts.
Do you have 1:64 widebody models?
Our widebody range is mostly 1:18, but Mini GT's 1:64 LB-Works Nissan 35GT-RR Silhouette is in stock for collectors of smaller scales.
