Pocher Ferrari 12Cilindri 1:8 Model Kit: Rosso Imola & Blu Corsa

Pocher 1:8 Ferrari 12Cilindri pre-painted diecast model kits in Rosso Imola and Blu Corsa
The Pocher 1:8 Ferrari 12Cilindri in Rosso Imola (HK126) and Blu Corsa (HK127)

Pocher has announced the Pocher Ferrari 12Cilindri 1:8 model kit, a large-scale tribute to Maranello’s front-engined V12 grand tourer. It’s a pre-painted diecast kit with more than 580 parts, and it comes in two colourways: Rosso Imola with a Beige Tradizione interior (HK126) and Blu Corsa with a Bordeaux interior (HK127). Both versions are now available to pre-order at Model Universe.

The 12Cilindri follows Pocher’s 1:8 Ferrari F50 in the brand’s modern Ferrari line-up. Pocher’s team started work on the model about a month after the real car was revealed, so this is one of the first chances to build a current-generation Ferrari V12 at 1:8 scale.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri: A Modern Front-Engined V12

Ferrari revealed the 12Cilindri in Miami on 3 May 2024, marking 70 years of the company in the American market. It replaced the 812 Superfast. Its name simply means “twelve cylinders” in Italian, a clear statement of what sits under the long bonnet.

That engine is the F140HD, a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12. It develops 830 cv at 9,250 rpm and revs to 9,500 rpm, with 678 Nm of torque. Drive goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ferrari quotes 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h. In an era of turbocharging and hybrid power, a high-revving, naturally aspirated V12 like this has become rare and highly prized.

The Ferrari Styling Centre, led by Flavio Manzoni, gave the 12Cilindri clean, uncluttered surfaces and classic front-engined GT proportions. The black band across the nose, which joins the headlights, is a deliberate nod to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona of 1968. Ferrari also offers the car as the 12Cilindri Spider, with a retractable hard top.

Why a Pre-Painted 1:8 Kit Suits the 12Cilindri

Pocher’s pre-painted approach means the bodywork arrives with a factory finish, so the build focuses on engineering rather than paint. You assemble the chassis, suspension and V12 engine, then bring in the interior and the body panels, using screws and the printed instruction manual. The result is a model you’ve built yourself, with a professional paint finish.

Every Pocher kit comes with a detailed, step-by-step instruction manual

At 1:8 scale the 12Cilindri is about 59 cm long, which leaves room for detail that smaller scales can’t match: the V12 engine, the suspension and the cabin trim. The opening body sections let you show off that work on the finished model. For more large-format projects, have a look at our full range of model kits.

Two Colourways: Rosso Imola and Blu Corsa

Choose your colourway: Rosso Imola (HK126) or Blu Corsa (HK127)

Pocher has chosen two very different specifications, each with its own interior colour. Many collectors will want both: built side by side, they show the different character of the car in red and in blue. The images shown are Pocher’s official renders of the kit.

Rosso Imola is a deep, rich metallic red. It suits the 12Cilindri’s sculpted bonnet and flanks, and it contrasts sharply with the black nose band and dark lower bodywork. Inside, the Beige Tradizione leather gives the cabin a warm, classic grand-touring feel, and it’s easy to see through the large glasshouse. View the Pocher Ferrari 12Cilindri Rosso Imola (HK126).

Blu Corsa is a vivid, bright blue that makes a confident alternative to the traditional Ferrari red. The Bordeaux interior gives a striking colour contrast and a more modern look. It’s the choice for collectors who want their 12Cilindri to stand out. View the Pocher Ferrari 12Cilindri Blu Corsa (HK127).
