This hand-made resin model represents the No.5 Ferrari 512S Long Tail driven by Jacky Ickx and Peter Schetty at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Ferrari 512S was built to compete in one of sports car racing’s most famous eras, going up against the Porsche 917 in the World Sportscar Championship. For Le Mans, Ferrari developed long-tail bodywork to improve straight-line speed on the Mulsanne Straight, giving the 512S a dramatic and purposeful appearance.

The 1970 Le Mans race is remembered as one of the most challenging editions of the event, with wet weather, high speeds and heavy attrition throughout the field. The No.5 Ickx and Schetty car was part of Ferrari’s major works effort, making this model a strong subject for collectors of classic Le Mans machinery and Ferrari prototype history.

Made in impressive 1:12 scale, this high-quality hand-made resin model measures approximately 36 cm long, excluding the base, and is limited to just 65 pieces.
