What Is 1:12 Scale?
A 1:12 scale model is twelve times smaller than the real vehicle, so a 4.5 metre sports car becomes a model of about 38cm, roughly one and a half times the length of a 1:18 model. KK Scale has a large 1:12 range, and most of its diecast models have opening parts. Examples include the Bugatti EB110, Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 S QV, BMW M635 CSi and the Ford Mustang GT Fastback from "Bullitt". Werk83 focuses on race cars, including the Mazda 787B that won Le Mans in 1991 and the Porsche 911 GT1 that won in 1998.
