The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a customer racing car developed by Mercedes-AMG to FIA GT3 regulations, built around a hand-assembled 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine and a carbon-composite bodyshell. It succeeded the SLS AMG GT3 and has become one of the most widely campaigned GT3 platforms worldwide, contesting series from the Nürburgring 24 Hours and Spa 24 Hours to IMSA and Super GT. In Japan it is a long-standing fixture of the GT300 class, where it competes under a balance-of-performance framework against a diverse field of GT3 and JAF-GT machinery.
