The Lexus RC F GT3 is a customer racing car developed by Lexus and TRD on the basis of the RC F road coupé, built to FIA GT3 regulations. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8 driving the rear wheels through a sequential transaxle gearbox, paired with a tubular subframe and bespoke aerodynamics including a large rear wing and front splitter. Since its introduction the RC F GT3 has been campaigned in Super GT’s GT300 class as well as in IMSA and various national GT series, and has become a familiar sight in Japanese sportscar racing. Within Super GT it competes against a varied field of FIA GT3 cars and JAF-GT machinery, with engineering setup tailored to the championship’s success ballast and tyre regulations.

Across the Super GT 2026 season the Shade Racing RC F GT3 contests the GT300 class against a deep grid of Honda NSX GT3, Nissan GT-R, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R, Toyota GR Supra GT and Subaru BRZ entries on circuits such as Okayama, Fuji, Suzuka, Sugo, Autopolis and Motegi. The car runs in the privateer ranks of the class, where strategy, tyre management and consistent driving over long stints are central to scoring points.
