The Toyota GR Supra GT is a customer GT300 machine derived from the road-going A90 GR Supra, developed to compete under JAF-GT and FIA GT300 regulations within Japan’s Super GT championship. Built around a tubular chassis with carbon-composite bodywork over the Supra silhouette, the car runs a front-mounted turbocharged engine driving the rear wheels through a sequential gearbox. The GR Supra GT has become a popular choice for independent teams in GT300, valued for its balance, aerodynamic stability and parts support from Toyota Gazoo Racing. Hoppy Team Tsuchiya, founded by former racing driver and drift pioneer Keiichi Tsuchiya, has been a long-standing GT300 entrant and continues to develop the Supra package alongside its sponsor partners.

Across the 2026 Super GT season, the No.25 HOPPY Schatz GR Supra GT contests the GT300 class against a varied grid of FIA GT3 machinery from Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Lamborghini, Honda and Nissan, alongside fellow JAF-GT and Mother Chassis entries.
