Add a Le Mans Hypercar to your collection with the Genesis GMR-001 2026 WEC programme launch model. This officially licensed replica represents Genesis Magma Racing’s first works prototype, the marque’s headline entry into top-class endurance competition.

The GMR-001 is the LMDh prototype developed by Genesis, the luxury arm of Hyundai Motor Group, to contest the FIA World Endurance Championship’s Hypercar class. Built around one of the four homologated LMDh chassis platforms and paired with a bespoke Genesis-branded hybrid powertrain, the car is engineered to the LMDh ruleset that allows direct competition with LMH machinery through Balance of Performance. The programme is run by Genesis Magma Racing, the brand’s dedicated motorsport division, and forms part of a wider performance push that links its road car ambitions to top-flight endurance racing. Genesis joins a Hypercar field that already features Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota, Cadillac, BMW, Alpine, Peugeot and Aston Martin, marking one of the most significant new manufacturer entries of the decade.

For the WEC season, the GMR-001 will face a dense Hypercar grid across the eight-round calendar including Qatar, Imola, Spa, Le Mans, Sao Paulo, Austin, Fuji and Bahrain. As a debut programme, Genesis Magma Racing’s targets centre on mileage, reliability and learning the platform rather than outright victory, with Le Mans as the headline objective. Driver line-up and race numbers for the campaign were not confirmed at the time this model was tooled, so the replica captures the car as presented during its launch and shakedown phase.

Made by Spark Models in 1:18 scale, this resin model measures approximately 27cm in length and is supplied on a branded display base with a clear acrylic cover. The body is finished as a sealed resin casting with no opening parts, allowing Spark to capture fine bodywork detail, sharp panel gaps and accurate aero surfaces.
