The TrueScale Miniatures 1:12 Porsche 959 S 1987 is a meticulously-crafted model car that pays homage to one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. The Porsche 959 was a technological marvel when it was first introduced in 1986, and this model captures every detail of its groundbreaking design.

The Porsche 959 was a limited-production sports car that was built from 1986 to 1988. It was designed as a high-performance road-going version of the Porsche 961 racing car, which had competed in the grueling Paris-Dakar rally. The 959 featured numerous groundbreaking features such as an all-wheel-drive system, adjustable suspension, and a twin-turbocharged engine, which made it one of the most advanced sports cars of its time. It’s top speed of 217 mph / 317 kmh meant it was the fastest road-legal production car in the world, although this was short-lived as a few months later Ferrari revealed the F40 which could go 200 mph.

This model is a 1:12 scale replica of the Porsche 959 S, which was the sport version of the car. The S model was even more exclusive than the standard 959, with only 29 examples produced. The model is made from high-quality resin. The wheels and tyres are accurately repicated, as is the car’s aerodynamic bodywork. The interior of the car is equally impressive, with a highly-detailed dashboard, steering wheel, and seats.

The exterior of the model is painted in Porsche’s iconic silver color, and features authentic Porsche badging and decals.
