The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is a customer racing car developed by Nismo from the road-going R35 GT-R, engineered specifically to meet FIA GT3 regulations. Power comes from a naturally aspirated VR38DETT-derived 4.5-litre V8, reworked for endurance use and paired with a sequential paddle-shift transaxle. The car runs revised aerodynamics, a stripped composite bodyshell, and motorsport suspension geometry tuned for long-distance balance and tyre management. The GT-R Nismo GT3 has been a long-standing fixture in Super GT’s GT300 class as well as in international GT3 series, valued for its mechanical durability and predictable handling.
