The Lexus RC F GT3 is a customer GT3 racing car developed by Lexus and TRD on the basis of the road-going RC F coupe. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8 driving the rear wheels through a sequential gearbox, with a tubular steel safety structure, carbon-composite bodywork and full FIA GT3 aerodynamics. The platform has been campaigned across Super GT’s GT300 category, IMSA and various national GT series since the mid-2010s, becoming one of the longer-serving GT3 machines on the grid. K-tunes Racing has run RC F GT3 machinery in Super GT GT300 for several seasons, building a reputation as a privateer Lexus operation. The No.96 car continues that programme into the 2026 campaign.

Across the Super GT 2026 season, the K-tunes Racing No.96 contests the GT300 class against a diverse field of GT3 and JAF-GT machinery from Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche and McLaren. GT300 remains one of the most varied grids in world motorsport, with success-ballast regulations keeping competition tight across the calendar of Japanese circuits including Okayama, Fuji, Suzuka, Sugo, Autopolis and Motegi.
