The Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a customer racing car developed by Mercedes-AMG to compete in GT3-specification series worldwide. Built around a hand-assembled 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, it has become one of the most prolific GT3 cars on the global grid since its introduction. The platform is widely used across Super GT’s GT300 class, IGTC rounds, GTWC competition and national endurance championships. K2 R&D LEON Racing has a long association with the AMG GT3, having fielded earlier generations of the car in Super GT GT300 with notable success, including a series title in the previous decade.

Across the 2026 Super GT season, the No.65 LEON Pyramid AMG contests the GT300 category against a varied field of FIA GT3 machinery from Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, Porsche, Honda, Toyota and Nissan, plus JAF-GT and Mother Chassis entries unique to the Japanese series.
