Even the proportions of this technical marvel are reminiscent of a race car. Well-packaged, 2 electric motors are hidden in front of and behind the driver, while the V8 engine with its 608 hp is located in the rear. The 918 turns out to be a thoroughbred super sports car with racing certification, but thanks to the new drive technology it only has the fuel consumption values of a mid-range car. The car manages 0-62mph (100kmh) in a whopping 2.6 seconds with a top speed 345 km/h.

    The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model.
