Ferrari’s 499P has become one of the defining cars of the Hypercar era — a machine that announced its arrival at Le Mans by winning on debut in 2023 and which returned to the Circuit de la Sarthe in 2025 to take outright victory once more. The No. 83 Ferrari of Robert Kubica, Ye Yifei, and Philip Hanson delivered one of the most remarkable results of the 2025 season: Kubica, whose Formula 1 career was interrupted by devastating injury before his determined comeback to the top level of motorsport, crossing the line as a Le Mans winner in a result that carried a weight of personal significance few victories in modern endurance racing can match. Ye Yifei’s growing reputation as one of the Ferrari Driver Academy’s most complete talents was confirmed at La Sarthe, while Hanson’s endurance racing pedigree completed a crew of extraordinary depth.
