Oscar Piastri secured an impressive 2nd place finish, while his teammate Lando Norris narrowly missed out on the podium, finishing in 4th place. The race was dramatically affected by a major collision at the Massenet corner, involving Sergio Perez’s Red Bull and the Haas cars driven by Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenburg. This incident prompted the race to be red-flagged, allowing teams to change tyres and meet their mandatory tyre change requirements under the regulations.

As a result of the red flag, the leading teams did not need to pit again, and given the notoriously difficult overtaking conditions in Monaco, the race saw an unprecedented outcome. For the first time in Formula 1 history, the Top-10 drivers finished in exactly the same order as they were before the red flag was deployed.
