The 1998 Canadian Grand Prix in Montréal on 7 June was one of the most chaotic races of the season, and one of Michael Schumacher’s hardest-won victories. David Coulthard took pole for McLaren with Schumacher third on the grid, and the race was stopped after a first-lap accident involving Alexander Wurz, Jean Alesi and Jarno Trulli. The safety car was deployed three times in all, and both McLarens retired, Mika Häkkinen with gearbox trouble and Coulthard with a throttle linkage failure.
Schumacher’s afternoon was far from straightforward. Rejoining after his pit stop, he forced Heinz-Harald Frentzen’s Williams off the track and into the gravel, and on lap 35 was given a 10-second stop-and-go penalty. He fought back through the field and took the lead for good on lap 45 when Giancarlo Fisichella pitted, winning the 69-lap race by 16.662 seconds from Fisichella’s Benetton, with team-mate Eddie Irvine third. It was his second win of the season, in a year in which the Ferrari F300 took the fight to McLaren-Mercedes all the way to the final round.
This WERK83 Moments edition captures the scene in parc fermé after the race: the No.3 F300 in dirty, after-race condition with the steering wheel removed, and Schumacher’s driver figure celebrating in the cockpit. Approximately 24cm long in 1:18 scale, it features an authentic cockpit replica with the decals already applied, and is presented in a high-quality collector’s box.

Understanding Scale
The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Please note that models can vary slightly in size, as not all real-life items, like cars or planes, have the same dimensions.
Model Cars:
- 1:12 scale: ~38 cm or 15 inches
- 1:18 scale: ~25 cm or 10 inches
- 1:24 scale: ~18 cm or 7 inches
- 1:43 scale: ~10 cm or 4 inches
- 1:64 scale: ~7 cm or 2.75 inches
- 1:76 scale: ~6 cm or 2.3 inches
Model Trucks:
- 1:12 scale: ~75 cm or 29.5 inches
- 1:18 scale: ~50 cm or 19.7 inches
- 1:24 scale: ~38 cm or 15 inches
- 1:43 scale: ~21 cm or 8.3 inches
- 1:64 scale: ~14 cm or 5.5 inches
- 1:76 scale: ~12 cm or 4.7 inches
Model Bikes:
- 1:6 scale: ~30 cm or 12 inches
- 1:10 scale: ~18 cm or 7 inches
- 1:12 scale: ~15 cm or 6 inches
