Description

The 2025 Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve marked Haas’s 200th Formula 1 race — a milestone that reflects nearly a decade of progress for the team Gene Haas founded as the first American F1 constructor in three decades when they entered the sport in 2016. To commemorate the occasion, both VF-25s carried a special livery at Montreal, the circuit’s fast, wall-lined layout providing a suitably dramatic backdrop for a milestone that fewer than a handful of constructors currently on the grid have reached.

Oliver Bearman brought to the No. 87 Haas a reputation already established well beyond his years — the young Briton’s emergency Ferrari debut at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he stepped in at minimal notice and scored championship points, had announced him as a driver of exceptional composure and natural ability. His first full season with Haas in 2025 gave him the platform to build on that promise race by race.
