The No. 83 Ferrari 499P’s victory at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the most compelling results in recent endurance racing history — a win achieved by a crew whose combination of backgrounds and journeys to La Sarthe gave the result a significance beyond the points and the trophy. Robert Kubica, whose Formula 1 career was interrupted by a life-altering rally accident and whose determination to return to the top level of motorsport across more than a decade became one of the sport’s great stories, crossed the line as a Le Mans winner — an achievement that stands alongside anything in his grand prix career. Phil Hanson’s growing reputation as one of endurance racing’s most mature young talents was confirmed emphatically by the result, while Ye Yifei’s victory validated the Ferrari Driver Academy’s long-term investment in developing Chinese racing talent to the highest level.

Ferrari’s 499P, in only its third Le Mans season, has already established itself as one of the great Hypercar era racers.
