The BMW M Hybrid V8 was developed for the top level of international endurance racing under LMDh regulations, combining hybrid prototype technology with BMW’s motorsport identity. Its sharp bodywork, wide stance and V8-powered character make it one of the most distinctive Hypercars on the modern Le Mans grid.

At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No.20 BMW M Team WRT car competed in the Hypercar class against a strong field of Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota, Cadillac, Alpine, Peugeot and Aston Martin machinery. The car finished 18th overall, adding another chapter to BMW’s ongoing return to top-class endurance racing.
