Minichamps 1:18 scale diecast model of the #2 Williams Renault FW15C as raced by Alain Prost to win the 1993 Formula One Drivers Championship.
The Williams FW15C was a Formula One racing car designed by Adrian Newey and raced during the 1993 Formula One season. The car was powered by a Renault RS5 V10 engine and was driven by the legendary French driver Alain Prost, who had just returned to Formula One after taking a sabbatical in 1992. The FW15C was an evolution of its predecessor, the FW14B, and featured advanced electronic driver aids, including active suspension, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. Prost and the FW15C dominated the 1993 season, winning seven of the 16 races and securing the Frenchman’s fourth World Championship title. Prost retired at the end of the season and the FIA banned many of the car’s electronic driver aids for the 1994 season.
