Description

The FIA World Endurance Championship’s São Paulo round at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace — Interlagos — brings the world’s premier endurance racing series to one of South America’s most evocative circuits, a track whose undulating layout and elevation changes create a demanding test of both machinery and strategy over six hours of racing. The BMW M4 GT3 EVO, competing in the LMGT3 class, brought together a crew that combined factory experience with regional talent: Augusto Farfus, the Brazilian BMW factory driver whose familiarity with the Interlagos circuit added an important dimension to the team’s preparation, alongside Ebrahim and Morris Shahin.

The GT3 EVO is an evolution of BMW’s M4 GT3 that refined an already well-regarded racing package, and LMGT3 class racing at WEC level pits identical GT3 cars against each other in a format that places enormous emphasis on driver performance and pit-stop execution. Completing the São Paulo six hours represents a full endurance test in tropical conditions.
