The Ferrari 642 was part of Ferrari’s early 1990s Formula 1 era, following on from the 641 and retaining the elegant, low-slung styling that made Ferrari’s cars of the period so distinctive. Powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, the 642 reflected a time when F1 cars combined dramatic sound, mechanical character and highly recognisable sponsor liveries.
Jean Alesi was one of Ferrari’s most popular drivers of the early 1990s, admired for his committed driving style and passionate approach. His 1991 season with Ferrari helped build his strong connection with the Tifosi, making this Spanish GP version a desirable subject for collectors of Alesi and classic Ferrari F1 models.
Made by Tecnomodel in 1:18 scale, this high-quality hand-made resin model measures approximately 25 cm long and is limited to just 40 pieces.
