Add a cross-country rally car to your collection with the Toyota Hilux No.202 21st Dakar Rally 2026. This officially licensed replica represents the Toyota Gazoo Racing entry, driven by Henk Lategan with co-driver Brett Cummings alongside in the navigator’s seat.

The Toyota Hilux T1+ is the marque’s purpose-built Dakar weapon, developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing to meet the T1+ technical regulations that allow wider tracks, larger wheels and longer-travel suspension. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine driving all four wheels through a sequential gearbox, with a tubular spaceframe chassis clothed in composite Hilux-style bodywork. The car evolved from the platform that delivered Toyota its first overall Dakar victory in 2022 with Nasser Al-Attiyah, and has remained a front-running contender in subsequent editions. Toyota Gazoo Racing fields a multi-car effort each year, with technical work centred at its South African base in Midrand.

At the 21st Dakar Rally of 2026, the Hilux contested the gruelling Saudi Arabian route against rivals including Audi alumni now in other machinery, Ford’s Raptor T1+ programme, Mini, Prodrive’s Hunter and a strong field of privateer entries. Lategan, a multiple Dakar stage winner, lined up as one of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s lead drivers in the marathon event across desert, dune and rocky terrain.

Made by Spark in 1:43 scale, this resin model measures approximately 11cm and comes mounted on a branded display base under a clear acrylic cover.
