The RB22 is Red Bull Racing’s challenger for the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship, the first season under the sport’s new technical regulations covering chassis, aerodynamics and a revised power unit formula with increased electrical deployment. Designed at Milton Keynes, the car continues the team’s run of championship-winning machinery developed under the Red Bull Technologies umbrella and marks a significant new chapter with the squad’s in-house power unit programme. The car carries the long-standing Oracle title partnership along with the wider commercial portfolio that has accompanied the team’s recent campaigns. Hadjar, promoted into the senior Red Bull squad, took the No.6 through the early rounds of the season as the team adjusted to the new rule set.

At the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit, the RB22 raced against a field that included Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Aston Martin and the rest of the 2026 grid working through the new regulations. Hadjar brought the No.6 home in 8th position, scoring points for the team on a circuit that places heavy demands on traction out of the long Turn 13 hairpin and on tyre management through the sweeping early sector.
