Add a Group B rally icon to your collection with the Lancia 037 Rally No.3 Winner Acropolis Rally 1983. This officially licensed replica represents the winning entry from one of the toughest events on the World Rally Championship calendar, driven by Walter Röhrl and co-driver Christian Geistdörfer.

The Lancia 037 Rally was developed by Abarth in collaboration with Pininfarina and Dallara to contest the Group B regulations that opened up the World Rally Championship in 1982. Built around a mid-mounted supercharged four-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels, the 037 was the last two-wheel-drive car to win the WRC manufacturers’ title. Its tubular spaceframe construction and composite bodywork made it light and agile on tarmac and gravel alike, even as four-wheel-drive rivals from Audi began to dominate. Lancia and Martini Racing fielded the car at the highest level throughout the 1983 and 1984 seasons, with Walter Röhrl, Markku Alén and Attilio Bettega among the lead drivers.

At the 1983 Acropolis Rally, Röhrl and Geistdörfer guided the No.3 Lancia 037 to victory on the rough, rocky Greek stages that punished both cars and crews. The Acropolis was contested against the Audi Quattro works entries and a strong privateer field, and a win there was regarded as a benchmark result on one of the championship’s most attritional rounds. The victory contributed to Lancia’s successful 1983 manufacturers’ title campaign.

Made by Spark in 1:43 scale, this resin model measures approximately 10.5cm and comes mounted on a branded display base with a clear acrylic cover. At this scale the 037’s wedge profile, rear cooling slats and rally specification details such as auxiliary lamps and mud flaps are clearly reproduced, and the car sits comfortably alongside other 1:43 Group B and WRC subjects.
