This officially licensed scale model represents the cross-country entry that finished eleventh overall, driven by Cristina Gutiérrez with co-driver Pablo Moreno alongside her in the navigator’s seat.

The Dacia Sandriders is the marque’s purpose-built T1+ category cross-country prototype, developed for the marathon rally-raid discipline that culminates each January in the Dakar Rally. Built around a tubular spaceframe with long-travel suspension to absorb the punishment of dune crossings and high-speed desert pistes, the Sandriders is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 running on sustainable fuel. The programme marks Dacia’s first works-backed assault on Dakar and the wider World Rally-Raid Championship, drawing on rally-raid engineering know-how to deliver a competitive package from the marque’s debut season.

At the 2026 Dakar Rally, the Sandriders fleet faced the established might of Toyota’s Hilux T1+ programme, the Ford Raptor entries and a strong privateer field across nearly two weeks of stages running through Saudi Arabia. The No.212 car of Gutiérrez and Moreno worked through the marathon route to finish eleventh overall in the car category, a strong placing that underlined Gutiérrez’s continued progression at the top level of cross-country rally.

Made by Spark Models in 1:43 scale, this resin model measures approximately 10cm and is supplied on a branded display base under a clear acrylic case.
