Description

Proton Competition’s second Ford Mustang LMGT3 entry at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No. 88 car, completed a strong two-car campaign for the German team at one of endurance racing’s most demanding events. Running two cars at Le Mans allows a team to share strategic information, manage safety car periods more effectively, and provide a safety net should one car encounter issues — and Proton’s experience in organising multi-car endurance programmes made them well placed to maximise the Mustang’s potential across the full race distance.

The Ford Mustang LMGT3’s presence at La Sarthe in 2025 represented a significant moment for the nameplate’s endurance racing history, and the Proton entries were among the most characterful in the LMGT3 class. Spark’s 1:18 resin model captures the No. 88 car at approximately 27cm in length, officially licensed and presented with a display case and base — a natural companion piece to the No. 77 entry.
