This 1:43 scale diecast model of the 1957 BMW 507 Spider in red is made by Schuco. It measures approximately 10.2 cm in length and comes with its own display case to keep the model in perfect dust-free condition.
Schuco produced its first scale model cars in the middle 1930s, that featured revolutionary technology, quality, workmanship and functions. Some of these models, for which countless numbers of patents were registered, are once again available as part of Schuco’s product range. The faithfully reproduced models and toys are still made almost exclusively by hand and often produced as limited editions.

The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item.
