Description

The 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 arrived in 2021 as the most capable naturally aspirated road-going 911 Porsche had yet produced — its 4.0-litre flat-six, developed directly from the GT racing programme, producing 510 PS at a 9,000 rpm redline whose sound alone justifies every aspect of the car’s engineering brief. Paired with a double-wishbone front suspension layout borrowed from the 911 RSR and a rear wing designed in conjunction with the factory motorsport programme, the 992 GT3 is a car that treats the road as an inconvenience it is prepared to tolerate, because circuits are its natural environment.

Bahama Yellow is a colour with deep roots in Porsche’s history — used on the classic 914 and various 911 variants over the decades — and on the 992 GT3 it gives the car’s aggressive aerodynamic forms a warmth and immediacy that suits the exuberance the car delivers in use.
