Description

The Volvo F88 was one of the defining European heavy trucks of the 1970s — a cab-over design that set new standards for driver comfort, reliability, and performance in long-haul haulage at a time when European transport was expanding rapidly. Introduced in 1965 and produced through much of the following decade, the F88 earned a reputation for robustness and drivability that made it the preferred choice of operators across the continent, its 12-litre turbocharged diesel engine and well-resolved cab design representing a significant step forward in the class.
