Description

The Porsche 911 (993) GT2 was the final and most extreme air-cooled 911 road car — a twin-turbocharged, rear-wheel drive homologation special that replaced the Carrera RS at the top of the 993 range with something altogether more uncompromising. Around 430bhp through the rear wheels only, the wide-body arches accommodating a significantly increased track, and the Speedline alloy wheels of the racing programme all contributing to a car that demanded genuine driver involvement and rewarded it in kind. The GT2 remains the definitive 993 for those who regard the all-wheel drive Turbo as the softer option.

In white the 993 GT2 has a clean, purposeful appearance that strips away any visual complexity and allows the car’s wide-body aggression to register without distraction — the Speedline wheels, wide arches, and functional aerodynamics entirely unmediated by colour. A fourth variant alongside the yellow, silver, and light blue editions, completing the colour range. KK Scale’s 1:18 diecast model captures the car at approximately 25cm in length with working wheels and working suspension, presented with a display base.

The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item.
