From Minardi to Racing Bulls

Racing Bulls is the second team owned by Red Bull, alongside Red Bull Racing, and is based in Faenza, Italy, with a second base in Milton Keynes. It has carried several names. It raced as Minardi until 2005, when Red Bull's owner Dietrich Mateschitz bought the team, and became Scuderia Toro Rosso from 2006 to 2019. It was renamed Scuderia AlphaTauri from 2020 to 2023, competed as RB in 2024, and has been entered as Racing Bulls since 2025, with the full name Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team, often shortened to VCARB. Models from the earlier names have their own pages: Toro Rosso models and AlphaTauri models.

Two Wins at Monza

The team has won two Grands Prix, both at the Italian GP. Sebastian Vettel won in heavy rain from pole for Toro Rosso in 2008, becoming the youngest Grand Prix winner at the time, and Pierre Gasly won for AlphaTauri in 2020, finishing 0.415 seconds ahead of Carlos Sainz.

The VCARB Cars and Drivers

The 2025 car, the VCARB 02, used a Honda RBPT engine and was raced by Yuki Tsunoda, Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, with Tsunoda and Lawson swapping between Racing Bulls and Red Bull during the season. Spark models the team's cars race by race in 1:43 resin, and Minichamps produces limited edition resin models in 1:43 and 1:18. Driver collections are listed under Yuki Tsunoda models, Isack Hadjar models and Liam Lawson models.

Choosing a Scale

Because the team's line-up has changed often, many collectors build a set of 1:43 models covering each driver and race, while 1:18 suits a single showpiece. New models are often offered on pre-order, which is charged when the model is released, not when you order. Resin keeps the bodywork detail sharp, though the models are sealed with no opening parts.
