About Brabus
Brabus was founded in 1977 in Bottrop, Germany, by Bodo Buschmann, and grew into one of the best-known names in high-performance tuning. Its work centres on Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models, with wider bodywork, uprated engines and bespoke interiors, and in recent years it has also applied its treatment to Porsche. That combination of aggressive styling and limited production runs makes Brabus cars a natural subject for collectors' models.
GT Spirit: The Main Brabus Model Maker
GT Spirit is the main Brabus model maker, with a long-running series of 1:18 Brabus replicas. GT Spirit models are sealed resin, so doors, bonnet and boot do not open, and they are produced as numbered limited editions. The benefit of resin is crisp, accurate body shapes and fine detail on wide arches, aero parts and multi-spoke wheels, which suits the dramatic look of a Brabus build. GT Spirit is a sister brand of Otto Mobile, and both are based in Brittany, France.

Sizes and Display
A 1:18 Brabus model of a full-size saloon or SUV typically measures around 26 to 29cm long, so it has real presence in a cabinet. 1:43 models are roughly a third of that length. See our scale guide for a full comparison of model sizes.
