Tamiya – 10ml Lacquer LP-22 Flat Base Paint (82122)

Tamiya Flat Base is an additive agent designed to turn Tamiya Gloss Bottle Paint colors into a flat finish. Simply mix a 1:1 ratio (NEVER MORE) into a paint well palette for brush painting or an empty bottle for airbrushing. Mix well and add thinner if needed.

NOTE:This agent is not a flat clear coat. It’s an agent best used for converting Tamiya Gloss Colors into a flat sheen. Mixing a ratio greater than 1:1 will yield in a milky washed-out finish.

Tamiya Color bottled Lacquer Paints are highly versatile – whether using them to airbrush large areas, or pick out fine details with a brush, their stunning, consistent tones add superlative realism to your model. Their tough membrane suits them ideally to use as a basecoat, resistant to enamel paints, while swift drying times ensure an efficient painting process.

The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Please note that models can vary slightly in size, as not all real-life items, like cars or planes, have the same dimensions.
