BBR – 1:18 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Red (1967) with Showcase

This 1:18 scale resin model of the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART in red is made by BBR Models. The model measures approximately 24.5 cm in length and is produced as a limited edition of 162 pieces worldwide.

Note: The optional high quality plexiglass display case is included.

VEHICLE BACKGROUND

Only ten Ferrari 275s officially came from the Ferrari factory in spider configuration. These were all made for Luigi Chinetti who was Ferrari’s North American Importer at the time.
Chinetti recognized the need for an alternative to the luxurious 330 GTS and reluctantly convinced Ferrari to deliver his own ‘NART Spider’.
Chinetti first got the idea for the car at the Paris Motor Show when the 275 GTB/4 was shown. Ferrari at first denied his request to built a factory spider,
but after talking to Sergio Scaglietti who manufactured the 275 bodies, Ferrari was finally convinced.
Chinetti named the car after his North American Racing Team (NART) which contested all the top races in US and abroad.

New line, just launched by BBR resin models in 1/18 scale all designed, manufactured and assembled in Saronno’s workshop. All models in limited and numbered series.

Understanding Scale

The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Please note that models can vary slightly in size, as not all real-life items, like cars or planes, have the same dimensions.

Delivery:
