Description
The Marcos GT is one of British motoring’s most singular and characterful creations — a sports car that did things differently from the moment of its inception, with a distinctive wooden monocoque chassis, a low-slung fiberglass body of genuinely striking proportions, and a driving experience that prioritised feel and involvement above all else. The 3-Litre version, introduced in 1968 with a Ford V6 engine, gave the Marcos genuine straight-line performance to match its handling credentials, and the combination proved popular enough to sustain the model through to 1971.
In Yellow, the Marcos GT’s long bonnet, fastback roofline, and compact, purposeful proportions make an immediate visual statement — a car that looks like it was designed at speed, for speed. Matrix’s 1:43 resin model is limited to just 100 pieces, presented with a display case and base at approximately 11cm in length.
