Add a Group 4 rally icon to your collection with the Audi Quattro No.14 Winner Rallye Sanremo 1981. This officially licensed replica represents the Audi Sport entry driven to victory by Michèle Mouton and co-driver Fabrizia Pons, a result that wrote both crew and car into the rally record books.

The Audi Quattro was developed to exploit a change in FIA regulations that finally permitted four-wheel drive in international rallying. Powered by a turbocharged 2.1-litre inline-five driving all four wheels, it transformed the sport almost overnight, exposing the limitations of the rear-drive machinery that had dominated the previous decade. Ingolstadt’s engineers used the car as a rolling demonstration of quattro traction technology, and it became the template for the Group B generation that followed. Mouton’s car ran in the works Audi Sport colours and was prepared to the same specification as the cars of Hannu Mikkola and Michele Cinotto.

At the 1981 Rallye Sanremo, the Quattro faced a strong entry headed by the Lancia Stratos, Opel Ascona 400 and Fiat 131 Abarth on a mixed surface event that combined Italian tarmac with the loose Tuscan and Ligurian special stages. Mouton and Pons took outright victory, becoming the first all-female crew to win a round of the World Rally Championship, a milestone that remains unmatched at the top level of the sport.
