The Toyota GR Supra GT500 is the top-class machine fielded by Toyota Gazoo Racing in Japan’s Super GT championship. Built to the Class 1 technical regulations shared with DTM, it pairs a carbon-fibre monocoque with a two-litre turbocharged inline-four producing in the region of 600 horsepower, mounted in a silhouette body that echoes the road-going GR Supra. Aerodynamic development is intensive, with bespoke front splitter, dive planes, swan-neck rear wing and underfloor tunnels tuned to each circuit. The platform has been continually refined since its 2020 debut and remains the cornerstone of Toyota’s GT500 programme. TOM’S has been one of Toyota’s most successful customer teams across decades of Japanese top-flight racing.

Across the 2026 Super GT season, the No.37 Deloitte TOM’S GR Supra competes in the GT500 class against rival Toyota, Honda Civic Type R-GT and Nissan Z entries over eight rounds at circuits including Okayama, Fuji, Suzuka, SUGO, Autopolis and Motegi. The car runs under Super GT’s Balance of Performance and success-ballast framework, which keeps the GT500 grid closely matched throughout the year. Sasahara and Alesi share driving duties across the season’s mix of sprint and endurance-format races.
