KK Scale annuncia i modelli diecast 1:12 Bugatti EB110

German based model brand KK Scale has just announced a set of 1:12 scale diecast Bugatti EB110 replicas, just days after they announced the much anticipated 1:12 Ferrari 250 GTO’s. This Bugatti EB110 will be available in four different colours Blue, Black, Red and White. The model features openable scissor doors and an openable engine cover revealing a decent level of interior and engine detail. The wheels are working and we anticipate working suspension too. This feature-rich model in large 1:12 scale is priced at approximately £190, which represents extraordinary value for money. Being 1:12 scale, the model will measure an impressive 36.5 cm / 14.4 inches in length.

About the Bugatti EB110

The Bugatti EB110, introduced in 1991, was a groundbreaking supercar that revived the iconic Bugatti brand after decades of dormancy. Named in honour of company founder Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday, the EB110 featured an advanced design for its time, sporting a 3.5-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine capable of producing up to 603 horsepower in the Super Sport (SS) version. It had a top speed of around 218 mph (351 km/h) and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just over three seconds. This remarkable performance made it one of the fastest cars of its era.

Designed by Marcello Gandini and Giampaolo Benedini, the EB110 showcased an angular and futuristic aesthetic with carbon fibre construction—an innovation that kept the car lightweight. It also included all-wheel drive, an advanced feature that contributed to its handling and stability, especially given its immense power.

Although its production was short-lived due to financial issues that led to Bugatti’s bankruptcy in 1995, the EB110 cemented its legacy as an engineering marvel. Only about 139 units were produced, making it a rare collector’s item today. Its influence and innovation paved the way for modern Bugatti hypercars like the Veyron and Chiron.
