London Bus in 1:24 scale

With a scale of 1:24 and an impressive 391 pieces, this kit offers an authentic experience for model building enthusiasts. With a length of 381 mm, the model is not only impressively large, but also detailed. Due to the level 5 difficulty level, this kit is specially designed for experienced model builders who have in-depth knowledge and skills in model building. This model is ideal for professionals who are looking for a new challenge and want to put their skills to the test.

Background information:

The AEC Routemaster, first introduced in 1954, impressed with its innovative design. What was particularly characteristic was the open entry platform, which made it possible to get in and out quickly. The bus became a symbol of London and plied the streets of the capital for almost 50 years before ceasing service in 2005. With this kit you can recreate a piece of London history and admire it in your own home.

    The scale of a model is its size as a proportion to the real-life item. For instance, a 1:18 scale model means that every 1 unit of measurement on the model equals 18 units on the real item. If you divide the real item's size by 18, you'd get the size of the 1:18 model. Please note that models can vary slightly in size, as not all real-life items, like cars or planes, have the same dimensions.

    Model Cars:

    • 1:12 scale: ~38 cm or 15 inches
    • 1:18 scale: ~25 cm or 10 inches
    • 1:24 scale: ~18 cm or 7 inches
    • 1:43 scale: ~10 cm or 4 inches
    • 1:64 scale: ~7 cm or 2.75 inches
    • 1:76 scale: ~6 cm or 2.3 inches
