Welcome to the Model Universe email update for Wednesday 18th January. Today’s news is that Spark has announced 36 models (some re-releases) in 1:18, 1:43 & the new 1:64 ‘Sparky’ scale. All models come with the latest revived Spark packaging including a crystal clear display case to help protect the model from dust and the odd close shaves. 

As picked by the Model Universe Editorial Team the star of the show is the Aston Martin DBR1 in 1:18 scale. Perhaps a bit of British Bias involved here?. The Aston Martin DBR1 was and still is the first British Marque to win around the streets of Le Mans overall driven by two big name talents in Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori.
